Well first off. I’d like to say thank you for your kind words, it really means a lot to me, you’re a beautiful human being. <3

And second, in all honesty… part of the reason I will not be continuing the fic is I’ve lost interest in Klance. Not only that but I barely have enough time now to work on projects I enjoy. So the bad news is I won’t be finishing that fic, or (or any fic tbh) but the good news (i think) is that I plan to tweak it more and make it an original novel. I’ve lost love for klance… my motivation to continue that story as a klance fic is gone just because it’s simply not what I enjoy anymore. To each their own though but at the end of the day, I’d much rather write something original with my own characters because my perspective on them won’t change. I’ll always be passionate about their stories and it’s why I decided to stop writing fanfiction altogether and focus more on developing stories and characters that are solely my own. I hope people can understand my decision.

Thank you so much!! And That’s a really good question actually. It’s true I didn’t like Kallura in the beginning. I had this twisted warped way of thinking where I’d convince myself that it was a toxic ship. My aversion to it however, stemmed a lot from my shipping Klance, and not the ship being toxic itself. Rather my closed mindedness to be open to it.

But I actually began to wonder why others liked it. So I talked to a few Kallura shippers and I kind of understood their point of view and why they liked the ship. Shipping is really all about preferences and some people prefer the dynamic Keith and Allura share. One of struggle, but also the ability to overcome their differences and form a mutual respect, understanding, and acceptance towards one another. Soon I began to see the relationship for what it was. Exactly that. Instead of the fabricated mentality I had created for them and when I put aside the “this gets in the way of klance” mentality I had as well (whether I realized it or not). And now I absolutely just adore this couple, they’re incredibly understanding and gentle with one another. They’re incredibly similar, both stubborn and passionate and determined, yet come from two different worlds. As season 3 and 4 came around I absolutely fell so in love with their relationship.

So what I’m saying is. I used to be a lot like the antis in this fandom. closed minded, entitled, I wont deny it. But in the end. It’s tiring to hate. It’s incredibly time consuming and it’s not healthy either. Because Voltron is about love, it’s about strong bonds and relationships and found family. It’s not meant to create so much hate. Why hate when you can love. Kallura and their development actually shows this incredibly well. “My anger has blinded me for too long.” So acceptance… it really comes from an open mind. Seeing things from another person’s perspective and really trying to understand them. That’s how I learned to love Kallura and many other ships actually.

Awww thank you, don’t worry there will be, but unfortunately rn its not at the top of my list for things I’m working on. However, I will begin working on it soon.

As for fanfics inspired by it? I only know of one that was inspired by part one. I loved reading it!

Yeah this issue has been scaring me as someone who was hoping to expand as a content creator and open commissions and really work my way into the industry and just being able to grow… if net neutrality does get repealed a lot of what I worked so hard all these years for and MANY other creators… we’ll lose a lot so I hope for the sake of, not just us, but working people, students, basically anyone that can’t afford these ridiculous premiums, I really hope things work out.

But I guess the good thing is that this would literally piss everyone off. Even if it was repealed it wouldn’t last too long since there would be an absolute outrage. Lots of people would not be able to do their jobs, this could bring a great depression since many people now rely on the internet for income and those that don’t, NEED it for their jobs and schooling. Also the fact that, a lot of people just wouldn’t pay for it. The government would HAVE to listen once people can’t afford to line their pockets anymore.

So if it does get passed… BOYCOTT IT. It’s the best way to ensure they fix it.
But for now we can only hope that they’re not as pig-headed as they seem.

It’s just the original paladin armor that I tweaked a bit and added a cloak like Alfor’s to…??? But I did just check them and the only thing thats similar is the hairstyle… which.. many people have drawn braid Keith before??? I guess I can sorta see how it looks similar though my apologies, but it’s not based off their design.

I have to say though, whatever story you’re inspired to write, would be incredibly valid. It would be your take on it and I’d absolutely love to read it because it wouldn’t be mine but it would be yours, unique and brilliant and true to you, and that is why you’d be doing it right regardless. <33333

It’s okay to feel uncomfortable with some ships or dislike others. And while this fandom is really badly torn about it, there are small pockets that spread that positivity. You just need to find it. Non antis who are klancers seem far and few between but we are a lot more prevalent than you think. Don’t feel obliged to draw something you don’t want to for the sake of it! So remember. Block people bothering you, blacklist certain tags and ignore the mess. It’ll make you a happier person (2/2)

Honestly when I made the decision to take a break from klance, I was scared I’d lose a lot of you guys.. so I was incredibly surprised to see that many klance fans agreed with what I said, and were supportive of my decision. Continuing to support my art and follow me regardless. It really meant a lot to me so thank you for that <3 I just think that… while yes, you shouldn’t get wrapped up in the negativity. But ignoring it is what made their voices so loud in the first place. And honestly… I think we can’t ignore it. But we can be louder than them. We can drown them out and be a positive driving force. We can make more content for other ships and a lot of it. I guess what I’m saying is, if we want to spread love, why not show it in its full diversity. <3 ^_^
